What is NOT allowed
- ✗Electronics of any kind, including but not limited to phones, laptops, tablets, televisions, and cameras
- ✗Weapons, knives, firearms, or any item designed or adapted to cause harm
- ✗Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
- ✗Alcohol or tobacco products
- ✗Adult or sexually explicit content of any kind
- ✗Counterfeit, fake, replica, or stolen goods
- ✗Live animals
- ✗Prescription-only or pharmacy-only medication
- ✗Medical devices or medical equipment of any kind
- ✗Opened, used, or homemade cosmetics, make-up, skincare, or personal care products
- ✗Opened, homemade, or loose food items (factory-sealed or vacuum-packed only)
- ✗Chilled or frozen food requiring refrigeration or temperature-controlled transit
- ✗Food or drink past its stated expiry date
- ✗Hazardous, dangerous, flammable, or toxic materials
- ✗Gift cards, vouchers, store credit, or discount codes of any kind
- ✗Cash, cryptocurrency, or any financial instrument
- ✗Event tickets, travel tickets, or admission passes
- ✗Recalled, unsafe, or withdrawn products
- ✗Personal documents, identity documents, or personal data of any kind
- ✗Regulated, invasive, or restricted plant species or seeds under UK law
- ✗Anything that is illegal to buy, sell, or possess under the laws of England and Wales
Code of conduct
Honest listings
You must provide at least 2 clear, accurate photos of your item. Items must be described truthfully including their condition, age, and any defects. Deliberately misrepresenting an item's condition will result in account suspension.
Completing swaps
Repeatedly agreeing to swaps and then not following through wastes other users' time and damages trust. Repeated failed swaps may result in warnings, account restrictions, suspension, or permanent removal, depending on the circumstances.
Respectful communication
Harassment, abuse, threats, or offensive language toward other users will result in an immediate ban with no warning.
One account per person
Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban, manipulate trust scores, or gain an unfair advantage is prohibited and will result in all accounts being permanently removed.
Disputes
If a swap goes wrong, try to resolve it directly through messages first. If unresolved, raise a dispute through the in-app dispute system within 7 days of the expected or confirmed delivery date. DropSwap will review available evidence and communicate a final outcome.
Off-platform swaps
Arranging swaps outside of DropSwap to bypass the security hold process or platform protections is a serious breach of these rules and may result in account restrictions or permanent account removal.
Strike system
By using DropSwap you agree to these rules and our Terms & Conditions. Rules may be updated at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email.
